Location: Eastern South Dakota
Description:
1. General knowledge-
~ crimping of BNC's (three pieces)
~ twist on BNC's, BNC to RCA, barrels (different conversion connectors)
~ how to run wires (the right way)
~ how to use all hand and power tools used in the security industry
~ cleaning up after all jobs
~ troubleshooting step by step until the issue is solved.
2. General Camera knowledge-
~ know all types of cameras, (indoor, outdoor, PTZ's housings, domes, color and monochrome)
~ how to hook up every type of camera, knowing the proper voltage to apply to each camera, precise focusing on every camera ( Your camera system is only as good as how well you focus the cameras)
~ knowing what types of lens to use on every application
3. General recorder/multiplexer or knowledge-
~ how to install and program all types of digital video recorders, multiplexers, quads, switchers, and VCRs
~ be able to easily pick up on machines you may be unfamiliar with
~ capable of networking all types of digital video recorders
4. Access control-
~ how to cut in all types of strikes
~ installing strikes, readers and door contacts
~ general programming of access systems
5. Alarm systems-
~ install door contacts, motion detectors, sirens, glass break detectors and keypads
~ general programming of all types of alarm systems used at S-N-S
~ how to fill out all paperwork for monitored alarm accounts
6. Basic Electronics knowledge-
~ color coding of resistors
~ how to use a voltmeter
~ how to wire up relays and customize different systems
~ know DC/AC circuitry
*Ability to drive long distance and deal with overnight
away from home*
Requirements: At least 2 years experience and
farm experience would be a plus.

Salary: $12.00 + DOE
